The Importance of Health Testing
Part of what makes Double J Aussies exceptional and distinguished from other Aussies are the Certifications from the Health Testing that has been completed on them. To ensure as best we can that you are getting a healthy puppy, we have completed all three of the expensive DNA Hereditary Health Tests on our adult Aussies. Our adult Aussies have also been ceriified with the OFFA to make sure they do not have Hip Dysplasia. If you have not read "The Importance of Health Testing", please do take the time to read this, before you purchase a puppy from any breeder.

Responsible Breeders of Australian Shepherds test their Aussies for Hereditary Diseases and other Genetic issues. Hereditary Cataracts (HSF4 - HC Mutation), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Hip Dysplasia (OFA Exam), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA) are some of these Diseases. We use the OFA to certify the hips of our adult Aussies. We also use OptiGen, Animal Genetics & the AHT to test their eyes. We offer a written 30 Month Health Guarantee and the AKC CAR Microchips with our puppies.

Two Blue Merle Males still available. 3 Blue Merle Males, 1 Black Tri Male, 3 Blue Merle Females, and 3 Black Tri Females. Puppies will be AKC Registered, and eligible for ASCA Foreign Registration. Both Ice and Maia are clear of the Hereditary Cataract Mutation( HSF4), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Collie Eye Anomaly and Choroidal Hypoplasia (CEA/CH), which will make this litter "Clear" of these terrible Hereditary Diseases. DJR's Phantom of Max A Million and Hayhay's Hopalong Cassidy. Litter of 10 arrived 12/11/2011. 1 Blue Merle Male, 5 Black Tri Males, 2 Blue Merle Females, and 2 Black Tri Females. Puppies will be AKC Registered. Both Phantom and Jaycee have been OFA Certified and are clear of the Hereditary Cataract Mutation( HSF4), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Collie Eye Anomaly and Choroidal Hypoplasia (CEA/CH), which will make this litter "Clear" of these terrible Hereditary Diseases. Price & shipping
Effective January 01, 2010, all puppies or adults sold to Missouri Residents, the buyer will be required to pay Missouri sales tax of 6.1% of the total sales price.

1/2 of the selling price will hold your puppy of choice. No refunds will be given on deposits. The balance will be due when puppy is picked up, or at least one week before being shipped and will need to be made thru our PayPal account, cash, or by USPS money order. Payments made through PayPal require a 4% surcharge. USPS money orders are to be made payable to Double J Aussies and sent to the address below.
Shipping cost is extra and starts at around $275.00 depending on the shipping destination and the weight of the puppy. This will include airfare, insurance, crate, required health certificate, microchip, registration papers, food for the trip and a $45.00 surcharge for all puppies shipped.
We will work with you on scheduling the shipment of your puppy, but this must be done within a 10-day period once the health certificate has been issued. If a new health certificate must be issued it will be at the buyer’s expense. If the weather does not permit shipping, then we will cover the expense. We use Delta, American, or Northwest, and will fly out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

We can consider selling our Aussies with Full Breeding Rights, but only after careful evaluation on an individual basis. As responsible Breeders, we require that you do all the health testing with "Clear" results before you breed your Aussies to any of ours.
